Mr Brookland joined St Benedict's in 2026. Before this, he worked in a secondary school in Brockworth, Gloucester for nine years. Here he was part of an improvement journey where the school went from Ofsted 'Requires Improvement' to 'Good'. He held various leadership roles including Head of PSHE, Head of Humanities and Associate Assistant Headteacher focusing on teaching and learning and professional development.
Mr Brookland joins us as an Assistant Principal overseeing Standards. He has a sheer passion for teaching and learning, curriculum development, staff development, ensuring high expectations and for every student to flourish, regardless of their background or starting point.
