Today we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 11 pupils.
They began their morning by completing their final GCSE examination before coming together for a special leavers' service led by Mrs O'Gara. During the service, pupils lit candles, prayed together, and had their hands anointed with holy water from Lourdes as they prepare to embark on the next stage of their journey.
Following the service, pupils enjoyed a celebratory lunch of pizza and cakes before attending an awards assembly. Many pupils were recognised with subject awards, while others received special awards voted for by their peers.
The afternoon continued with a slideshow of memories and heartfelt messages from staff, providing an opportunity to reflect on the many wonderful moments shared throughout their time with us.
To finish the day, pupils had an amazing time taking part in a Rainbow Run, kindly organised by our fantastic PTA team. More photos of this will follow soon!
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our Year 11 pupils. It has been an honour and a privilege to be part of your journey. We wish you every success and happiness for the future and can't wait to celebrate with you again at Prom!
